Why the Miami Grand Prix actually failed

Over the weekend all F1 fans around the world were anticipating and ready for the Miami grand prix. A new track with potential and possibilities. The media hype for this circuit was big, with alot of push to get eyes on this race.  The first problem is that the track is dull and boring. It is a another generic street track that offers little to no wheel to wheel racing due to it's narrow nature. This track was made and built mainly for F1 to have another race in America which helps to capture more of the American market. Which I have no problem with if the track is the first priority rather than the location. Miami was not selected because of the potential to build a good track, it was selected due to the fame and glamour of Miami. Which is a huge problem F1 faces, as it becomes more and more mainstream it is easy to lose focus of what the fans want great hard racing. This just wasn't the case at Miami.  The coverage had alot of glitz and glamour which seemed to be done to hid...
